Its a costume and she probably loved wearing it. Plus she got to meet many celebrities. what other 7 year old can say that. And have you seen the shirts little girls wear today? the writing/graphics are always on the chest. Wouldn't that be attracting just as much attention as the cupcakes? It's parents who make these kinda things bad, not Katy Perry so get over it!

• 5. To everyone complaining, she wasn't naked. I went to see this award show. She was wearing a skin-tone body suit (kinda like spanks) with that sparkly, nilon full body thing on top. She was well covered, believe me. So don't go pointing fingers, if you have teenaged daugters, why don't you look what they wear to the beach. its probably way more revealing then this. And if your worried that this is giving a bad influence to your young children, don't let them watch her perform, don't buy them skimpy clothes. If your children are sluts, its you fault, not katy perry's. And this outfit wasn't a mistake, it was designed to show nothing vulgar.

• 12. You people are sad and blind...look at the close-up picture when she is being handed the award, you can CLEARLY see underwear (or panty or whatever you want to call it) lines on her legs! She was not wearing just that full body suit, she had something underneath covering herself up. She is not stupid. And, at least she didn't flash her 53-year old nipple like Madonna did!!! That was classless... Katy is covered up.
